James Bradley, MD was Special Guest Speaker February 3 Presenting "Platelet Rich Therapies in the Treatment of Orthopaedic Sports Injuries" [Pictured above from left to right]:Freddie Fu, MD; Akiro Iso-Steelers Assistant Athletic Trainer; James Bradley, MD; Tanya Hagen, MD; and John Norwig-Steeler Head Athletic Trainer.James Bradley, MD was the Grand Rounds Guest Speaker on February 3 presenting "Platelet Rich Therapies in the Treatment of Orthopaedic Sports Injuries". Dr. Bradley is Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and Head Team Physician for the Pittsburgh Steelers. His lecture was attended by more than 100 people including John Norwig, Steelers Head Athletic Trainer, and Akiro Iso, Steelers Assistant Athletic Trainer. John Norwig has been with the NFL for 19 years. He received his bachelor's and master's degree from Pennsylvania State University and is a member of several Professional Football Athletic Trainer Society (PFATS) and NFL committees. In 2008, he was honored with the Most Distinguished Athletic Trainer Awards by the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA).Akiro Iso joined John Norwig's training staff in 2003 as the first female trainer in the NFL. Born in Tokyo, Japan, she later earned her bachelor's degree from Oregon State University in 1993 and her master's degree from San Jose State in 1995.
