Arthritis Foundation Bone Bash Gala a Huge Success

Dr. Freddie Fu was an honoree at the Arthritis Foundation Bone Bash Gala & Testimonial Dinner at the Pittsburgh Hilton Hotel. Dr. Fu was the 2009 Gala Honoree celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Pitt's Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. The event had over 420 people in attendance. Dr. Connie Chu brought out her West Point Saber to cut the 100th Anniversary skeleton motif cake with Dr. Albert Ferguson, Jr. Honorary event chairs were legendary Steeler great Franco Harris, Dr. Constance Chu, Vice-Chairman for Translational Research and Pitt Women's Basketball Coach Agnus Berenato. James C. Roddey will be Master of Ceremonies. A live auction and raffle drawing was held followed with music by Johnny Angel & the Halos.
