Dickson Prize in Medicine: Sir Cato T. Laurencin, MD, PhD

Sir Cato T. Laurencin, MD, PhD, Albert and Wilda Van Dusen Distinguished Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Connecticut, is the recipient of the 2025 Dickson Prize in Medicine, the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine’s highest honor.

The Dickson Prize in Medicine is awarded annually to a leading American investigator who is engaged in innovative, paradigm-shifting biomedical research.

His lecture topic will be “Regenerative Engineering: Breakthroughs in Medicine.”
