Richard A. Wawrose, MD, is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgery. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas and received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center. His commitment to advancing the field of spine surgery is evident in his extensive research and publication history. His research interests span spine biomechanics and disc biology, and he has received numerous grants and research awards. He has published dozens of peer-reviewed articles and presentations and has been active in the Cervical Spine Research Society and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
