Research Interests

Dr. Hughes' current research and clinical interests are pediatric trauma, developmental hip dysplasia, neuromuscular hip dysplasia, cerebral palsy, limb deformity and sports injuries.

Past research publications were related to trauma, scoliosis, shoulder instability in adolescents, developmental dysplasia of the hip, clavicular growth, among others. She has presented at numerous conferences in the country on a wide range of topics from scoliosis, musculoskeletal infection, clavicular growth and hip dysplasia.
