Colin H. Beckwitt, MD, PhD, is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hand and upper extremity surgery. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Engineering from MIT. He received his medical degree and doctor of philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He completed his residency training in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center followed by a hand and upper extremity fellowship at the Brigham & Women's and Boston Children's hospitals in Boston, MA.
Dr. Beckwitt's clinical and research interests include upper extremity trauma and arthritis, joint and tendon issues, nerve compression, and congenital hand differences. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors society, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Society for Surgery of the Hand, and American Association of Hand Surgery.
