UPMC and PittOrtho contributed to conversations surrounding the transitions and challenges our discipline faces today as part of Academic Orthopaedic Consortium Meeting in Nashville, TN. Drs. Albert Lin and MaCalus V. Hogan were in attendance, with both presenting. The AOC brings together Orthopaedic Chairs, Vice Chairs, Division Chiefs, Faculty Leaders, and Administrative Leaders to discuss strategic pathways, clinical research and innovation opportunities and how to best navigate the ever-changing orthopaedic and musculoskeletal landscape. It was good to see Fellow alumni Thomas K. Donaldson, MD [Chair Loma Linda, PITT ORTHO Adult Reconstruction Fellow, c/o '1991] at the meeting as well!
