Dr. F. Johannes Plate and Dr. Adolph Yates represented our orthopaedic care family this past week at the National Orthopaedic Leadership Conference (NOLC), held in Washington D.C. Drs. Plate and Yates, along with other representatives of AAOS and AAHKS, visited with members of congress and the senate in Washington D.C. to advocate for payment reform. The purpose of this annual event is to advance AAOS’ Unified Advocacy Agenda by providing legislative and regulatory education, building support for orthopaedic-related legislation and regulation, and strengthening relationships with key decision makers within the U.S. government.
