UPMC Sports Medicine had some special visitors at UPMC Rooney Sports Complex on the South Side, as Liverpool F.C. came to practice at the football training facility before their friendly with Spanish side Real Betis at Acrisure Stadium.
Liverpool arrived in Pittsburgh earlier this week ahead of the start of their preseason U.S. tour, marking the fourth time a European soccer club has visited the Steel City for preseason play. The Reds practiced and worked out in the weight room and went through a number of drills, including conditioning and strength training.
Thanks to Drs. Fleming, Lesniak and Shaikh for all their assistance in hosting the Reds this past weekend.
