The 21st ESSKA (European Society for Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy) Congress was held May 8 – 10 in Milan, Italy and PittOrtho and UPMC members were on hand to represent. 20+ papers were presented from PittOrtho members at the meeting, along with 7 highlight lectures. PittOrtho alumni were also on hand including Roland Becker (Pitt ’01) who gave a presidential lecture “From Meniscus Lesion to Arthroplasty – A Journey in ESSKA”. Emre Anil Özbek (Sports Med Fellow) also won a Turkish Arthroscopy Society award at the Congress. Outstanding work to all!
