September is the American Medical Association’s (AMA) Women in Medicine month, which celebrates women physicians, residents and students and recognizes the growing number of women in the field of medicine.
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery would like to honor and celebrate our own women of orthopaedic surgery and all of those who came before them. We thank them for their contributions to excellent patient care, education and research throughout the history of our Department. We hope you join us in celebrating them as well!
