Department of Orthopaedic Surgery

Welcome New Faculty!

 

 

Dr. Stella J. Lee joined the department as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Musculoskeletal Oncology effective September 1, 2018.  Dr. Lee received her medical degree at Saint Louis University in 2012.  She completed orthopaedic surgery residency training at Indiana University in 2017 and recently completed fellowship training in orthopaedic oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital in July 2018.  Dr. Lee will see patients at UPMC Shadyside and the Kaufmann Building.

 

 

 

 

Dr. Michael P. McClincy joined the department as an Assistant Professor in the Divisions of Pediatrics and Sports Medicine effective September 1, 2018.  Dr. McClincy is a 2010 graduate of Pitt’s Medical School.  He remained at Pitt to complete orthopaedic surgery residency training in 2015 and for one-year, served as a Clinical Instructor in Orthopaedic Surgery.  He pursued subspecialty training at Boston Children’s Hospital completing fellowship training in pediatric and adolescent hip preservation followed by one year in pediatric sports medicine.  Dr. McClincy will see pediatric patients at Children’s Main, and adult patients at UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex.

 

 

 

Dr. Jeremy D. Shaw will join the department as Assistant Professor in the Division of Spine Surgery effective September 24, 2018.  Dr. Shaw received his medical degree at Case Western Reserve University School of medicine in 2012.  He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency training at the University of California, San Francisco, and was a scholar in the UCLS Global Health Clinical Scholars Program.  He recently completed fellowship training in adult and pediatric spine surgery at the University of Utah.  Dr. Shaw will see patients at the Kaufmann Building, Monroeville, and UPMC Bethel Park.
