After 32 years of dedicated service to the University of Pittsburgh Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, we congratulate Lisa Arrisher-Brown on her retirement.
For many years, Lisa served as Dr. Freddie Fu’s executive assistant, quietly working behind the scenes to keep countless projects, visits and daily operations running smoothly. She played a pivotal role in supporting hundreds of international fellows, including our own Dr. Volker Musahl, spending countless hours ensuring visas were secured, travel plans were coordinated, and each visitor felt welcomed as they adjusted to life in Pittsburgh.
Following Dr. Fu’s passing, Lisa transitioned into a broader administrative role and continued to be an invaluable member of our department, always ready to help wherever she was needed.
While we will miss her steady presence and commitment to others, we are incredibly grateful for the impact she has made over the past three decades. We thank Lisa for her years of service and wish her all the best in her well-deserved retirement.
