The Second Annual Western Pennsylvania Hand Society Spring Meeting - Imbriglia Lectureship Series was held at the Pittsburgh Golf Club on Friday, June 3, 2016, and hosted by Dr. Mark E. Baratz. Dr. William B. Kleinman was the guest lecturer.
The program began with research/case presentations by fellows followed by the Imbriglia Lecture presented by Dr. William B. Kleinman. Dr. Kleinman presented “How to Maintain Passion for the Game when the Goal Posts Keep Moving: A Teacher’s Perspective from 30,000 Feet.” A cocktail reception and dinner was held following all presentations.
William B. Kleinman, MD, is a Senior Attending Surgeon, at The Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center, and Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine.
The Imbriglia Lectureship Series is an annual program where fellows and residents can share their research while improving on their ability to exchange ideas in a professional form. The program allows faculty, fellows and residents the opportunity to develop a better understanding of hand pathology and commonly performed hand and upper extremity procedures.
