Residency Program Announcements

I am pleased to announce the following new appointments to lead our Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program. 

 

 

Albert Lin, MD
Residency Program Director

Albert Lin, MD, has been appointed Vice Chair of Education and Residency Program Director for the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.  Dr. Lin currently serves as Chief of the Shoulder Service, and Associate Chief of the Division of Sports Medicine.

Dr. Lin has been heavily involved in our residency and fellowship training programs.  He serves as the Assistant Program Director for the Sports Medicine Fellowship.  He supervises and mentors medical students, orthopaedic surgery residents and sports medicine fellows in the clinical setting as well as on clinical and basic science research projects. 

 

 

John Fowler, MD
Associate Program Director

John Fowler, MD, has been appointed Associate Residency Program Director for the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. 

Dr. Fowler is actively involved in medical student, resident and fellow education.  He is Assistant Dean for Medical Student Research and serves as Associate Program Director for the Hand and Upper Extremity Fellowship.  Dr. Fowler recently completed the ASSH Bunnell Traveling Fellowship and is a leader in hand and upper extremity surgery.

 

 

Dr. Joon Lee will continue in his role as Associate Program Director through the academic year.
