Dr. C. Benjamin Ma, a former University of Pittsburgh Department of Orthopaedic Surgery resident, has been appointed as the Chair of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Dr. Ma completed his training with us in June, 2002. We are pleased to have been a part of Dr. Ma's journey to such an esteemed position and are always happy to celebrate the achievements of our PittOrtho family. The legacy of great leadership established by Drs. Freddie Fu and Albert Ferguson is evident still in the remarkable accomplishments that previous and current PittOrtho members continue to make.
As Dr. Ma assumes the role of Chair of Orthopaedic Surgery, we are confident that he will bring the same level of passion, expertise, and commitment to advancing orthopaedic care that he demonstrated during his time here with us at Pitt.
