Pitt Research Wins Neviaser Award for Best Basic Science Paper

The collaboration between Center for Cellular and Molecular Engineering (Tuan) and Orthopaedic Robotics Lab (Musahl, Debski) recently received word that their paper “The Effect of Adipose-Derived Stem Cells on Enthesis Healing after Repair of Acute and Chronic Massive Rotator Cuff Tears in Rats” won the Neviaser Award for Best Basic Science Paper published in the Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery in 2019.  Awardees were formally recognized at this year’s virtual American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES) Annual Meeting.
