Despite the chilly winter weather, PittOrtho extended a warm welcome to Dr S. Elizabeth Ames, program director at University of Vermont (UVM) Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation and professor at UVM College of Medicine. Dr. Ames is an attending surgeon in the division of spine surgery at UVM and is also the chair of the ACGME Council of Review Committee. Dr. Ames spoke to residents and staff on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 during Grand Rounds about orthopaedic training methods and how all can take their training to the next level.
