PittOrtho recently welcomed Dr. Danny P. Goel, CEO of PrecisionOS, a company that brings medical-grade, interactive virtual reality (VR) experiences to surgical training for physicians. Dr. Goel, a practicing surgeon and surgical educator, currently practices in the Vancouver, B.C. area and serves on the University of British Columbia's Faculty of Medicine in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Goel spoke to residents and staff on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 during Grand Rounds about how orthopedic residency programs can be enhanced and empowered with the use of immersive VR training.
