Dr. Volker Musahl attended the Annual McGowan Institute 2016 Scientific Retreat held at Nemacolin Woodlands Resorts March 6-8, 2016. On March 8, 2016, Dr. Musahl and Charlie Batch presented “PIVOTing to Market: The Importance of Academia/Industry Partnerships.”
Dr. Musahl is an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, Division of Sports Medicine, and Medical Director of the UPMC Center for Sports Medicine.
Charlie Batch, a former NFL quarterback, is Founder of the Best of the Batch Foundation, Co-Founder of Impellia, and serves as Vice President of the Executive Committee for the NFL Players Association.
Max Fedor is Director of the Coulter Translational Research Partners II Program (Coulter Program) at the University of Pittsburgh.
