Dr. Kurt Weiss' project "Pittsburgh Sarcoma Research Collaborative" was selected to receive an award as part of the inaugural Pitt Seed Program.
Twenty-three projects were awarded up to $50,000. Nearly 200 faculty and staff submitted projects for consideration and the proposals were reviewed by 125 facuty and staff members.
Chancellor Patrick Gallagher noted that the first set of Pitt seed projects "are poised to help our faculty and staff members advance Pitt's mission in new and meaningful ways."
