Invited by the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of South Florida, Dr. Freddie Fu served as Visiting Professor at the Tampa Bay Orthopaedic Society meeting and Grand Rounds Lecture Series on February 18-19, 2016.
Dr. Fu presented “Anatomic Individualized ACL Reconstruction” at the dinner meeting on Thursday evening. Friday’s program began with a Sports Medicine Case Discussion, followed by Dr. Fu’s Grand Rounds presentation “50 Years of Cartilage Repair in Pittsburgh” and the core lecture “Innovation in Sports Medicine: Is the Latest Always the Greatest.” Following Grand Rounds, Dr. Fu participated in an ACL cadaveric demonstration.
During his visit, Dr. Fu was delighted to visit with Al Hess, Chris Baker, Jeff Stone, and Tom Davidson. As faculty at the University of South Florida, these Pitt ortho alumni play a major role in the academic mission and development of the residency program at USF.
