Congratulations to Dr. Anthony Kontos on receiving American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Fellow status.
Applications for Fellow status are reviewed by the ACSM Credentials Committee and the ACSM Board of Trustees. A prestigious distinction within the College, Dr. Kontos is now authorized to use the title of 'Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine’ (FACSM) on his CV as well as in future correspondence and publications.
Advancement to Fellow status is an opportunity for Dr. Kontos to become more integrally involved in the internal operations of the College as elected positions and membership on several committees are restricted to those with Fellow status.
This year's Fellowship class will receive recognition at a formal reception at the 2023 ACSM Annual Meeting in Denver, CO.
