The University of Pittsburgh Department of Orthopaedic Surgery will host the OREF/ORS Pittsburgh Region Resident Research Symposium on Friday, April 8, 2016. The event will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn/University Place from 6:30 am to 1:00 pm. Residents from the Northeast and the Mid-Atlantic areas will present throughout the morning.
The keynote address will be given by Shepard R. Hurwitz, MD, Executive Director of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Hurwitz’s talk will be “The Value of Being Board-Certified: Meeting the Expectations of the Public and Payors.”
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is excited to be chosen as the host institution.
