It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Dr. Edward J. McClain, Jr, father of Dr. Edward J. McClain, III. On Tuesday evening, October 20, 2020, Dr. McClain passed away peacefully surrounded by his family.
Dr. McClain was a 1964 graduate of the Pitt Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program. He started Three Rivers Orthopedic Associates in 1964 and remained a member of Pitt Ortho’s teaching faculty under the leadership of Dr. Albert Ferguson.
Funeral arrangements by Laughlin Memorial. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm, on Sunday, October 25th, at Laughlin Cremation and Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon (Masks and Social Distancing will be observed, and friends may have to wait a while to enter the funeral home to meet requirements). A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 26, 2020 at St. Anne Church, 400 Hoodridge Drive, Castle Shannon (Friends please meet at church).
