The American Orthopaedic Association (AOA) hosted its Annual Leadership Meeting in Minneapolis this year, bringing together orthopaedic surgeons from across the country. This yearly event offers AOA members the opportunity to strengthen their leadership skills, explore innovations in clinical and academic practice, and connect with colleagues.
We are proud to celebrate the induction of three distinguished members of our UPMC/PittOrtho family: Dr. Thomas Liu, PittOrtho alum (residency/sports fellow), Dr. Albert Lin and Dr. F. Johannes Plate, current members of our UPMC Orthopaedic Care team. Their induction as AOA members marks a significant achievement and underscores their ongoing commitment to excellence in orthopaedic leadership and education.
During the meeting’s recognition ceremony, new members were officially welcomed and received their AOA pins. Congratulations to Drs. Liu, Lin and Plate on this well-deserved honor!
