2019 Albert B. Ferguson Jr MD Resident Research Day

The 2019 Albert B. Ferguson Jr, MD Resident Research Day was held on May 29, 2019.  Gerald R. Williams, Jr., MD, served as the as the Albert B. Ferguson, Jr., MD Visiting Professor in Orthopaedic Surgery.  Dr. Williams is Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Jefferson Medical College and the Director of the Shoulder & Elbow Center at the Rothman Institute in Philadelphia, PA.  His presentation was entitled, “Management of Arthritis in the Young Patient.”

As the Ferguson Visiting Professor, Dr. Williams also served as judge to select the best resident presentations in two categories.  We are pleased to announce this year’s resident winners are:

Best Junior Presentation:
Margaret Hankins, MD  
Title:  Identification of Novel Therapeutic Targets for Metastatic Osteosarcoma
