2016 Albert B. Ferguson Jr MD Resident Research Day

Judith Baumhauer, MD, MPH, was the Albert B. Ferguson, Jr., MD Visiting Professor in Orthopaedic Surgery for Resident Research Day on May 11, 2016.

Four junior residents and eight senior residents presented their research and answered questions from Dr. Baumhauer, as well as from faculty, residents and fellows. Dr. Baumhauer judged the presentations to select the best papers.

At a luncheon following 2016 Albert B. Ferguson Jr MD Resident Research Day, Dr. Baumhauer presented the best paper awards to:

Best Junior Basic Science Presentation:  

Mitchell Fourman, MD (faculty advisor: Kurt Weiss, MD)

Best Senior Basic Science Presentation:  

Christian Isaac, MD (faculty advisor: Johnny Huard, PhD)

Best Senior Clinical Science Presentation:  

Michael McClincy, MD (faculty advisors:  Kevin Bell, PhD & James Irrgang, PhD)

Dr. Baumhauer is Professor and Associate Chair of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center, Rochester, NY.

Dr. Baumhauer's presentation was “Patient Reported Outcomes in the Accountable Care Era.”
