The 143rd meeting of the Central Japan Association of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology, held in Kobe, Japan, on October 4–5, 2024, brought together experts from around the globe to share insights and advances in orthopaedics and traumatology. Representing our UPMC-Pitt Orthopaedic Care Line, Dr. MaCalus V. Hogan delivered a lecture, highlighting sports foot and ankle injuries. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with our international colleagues, exchange knowledge, and enjoy time together outside of formal sessions. Our connections to each other only make us stronger and we look forward to many more meetings and exchanges with our international ortho community.
